Who We Need
EWB-PSU thrives on contributions from members of many different disciplines and backgrounds. Regardless of your major or class status, if you're
interested, we want your participation.
The involvement of engineering students is important, but while our group has the word "engineers" in the title, we need the contribution of students
from many other fields. Architecture and urban planning, business and economics, political science, public health, and language are all fields that can
make a significant contribution to the quality and success of our projects.
How to Get Involved
The easiest way to get involved is to attend our next general meeting. We always have work that needs to be done, and the
general meetings are a great place to introduce yourself and get involved. Whether you're able to attend the general meetings or not, sign up for our
general discussion group to communicate and keep up with current needs. Being able to attend our general meetings is not
a prerequisite to being involved.
If you are interested in participating in a specific project, join one of our project teams. There's always a need for more
help on our project teams, from design work and data analysis to international communication and document translation. If you're interested in joining a
project team, attend the next project meeting and sign up for the project's discussion group.
Fundraising is critical to the success of our projects. If you're interested in participating in our fundraising events and planning, have experience
in grant writing, or have other fundraising ideas, please attend our next fundraising meeting and join our
general discussion group.
